ABOUT THE HOME:
Click here for Virtual Tour Mad Lar is a great riverfront home with a 300' private dock - bring your boat and tie up for the week, month or season. Beautiful views of the ocean from the deck. Paddle over to the dunes, walk over and you're at the beach. For large families, or weddings or reunions, rent Villa Villekula (next door), The Lodge & The Hut (across the cove), and you're set for a wonderful time, boating, walking or golf-carting, from one home to the other.

Mad Lar has two bedrooms upstairs, plus two baths, and two bedrooms, one bath downstairs. There is a wonderful common area on the second floor for big family meals and relax time!

BOOKING INFORMATION:

Tax & Housekeeping:
All state and county taxes are included in the rates noted above. Housekeeping is also included; ask us about our clean house policy!

Deposits:
To reserve a home, 50% of the total fee is due at time of reservation. The balance of the fee is due 30 days before your arrival.

Payment Policies:
We accept all major credit cards and checks. See our full rental agreement for policies.

Cancellations:
Should your plans change after your deposit or full payment has been made, we will happily reschedule your stay for a mutually convenient time. No refunds are given on this or any of our homes.

Arrival/Departure:
Check-in at 4:00 P.M. - time to chill the wine and enjoy the beach! Check-out at 11:00 A.M. to make room for our next guests!

Holiday Rates:
A 25% increase will occur at major holidays and event weeks. Our favorite holidays are Christmas, New Years' Eve, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Special events in our area include Rolex 24 Hours & Speed Weeks, Daytona 500 & Bike Week.

Military Discount 5%
(This discount may only be used on non-holiday dates of a week or more and
is only applicable at the time of reservation.)
The
Beach Cottages Company regards service to our country as one of greatest
sacrifices our young men and women can make. We are happy to do this
small part to lessen the burden they bear at this time.
Important
Note:
Our goal is to rent each home by the week. Our rental week consists of 7
nights. We try to be flexible to meet guests' needs. Most popular
requests are Saturday through Saturday, but we will work mid-week
rentals. We aim to please our guests, not the calendar.
Less
than one week stays will be by special arrangement. Three night rentals
are welcome, however only within a three week period preceding the date (i.e.,
in April, we will not make a three night rental for June. Should the
house still be open on June 1, we will consider a three night rental).
Please
note that prices include all fees (6% Florida sales tax, 3% St. Johns
County Tourism tax and housekeeping).
